Darjeeling Gangtok Kalimpong (5Nights and 6 Days)

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport our representative will greet you and you will proceed towards Gangtok. After reaching Gangtok check - in to the hotel and spend the first day of your trip to Gangtok at leisure. You can even explore MG Marg and stroll around local markets by yourself. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast you will proceed towards Changu Lake, considered as the sacred lake. Following this you will also visit Baba Harbajan Mandir. After this experience you will return to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After having your breakfast you will proceed towards Kalimpong. After reaching Kalimpong check - in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. In the evening you can also stroll around the local market or visit nurseries. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.

The Day at Kalimpong starts with your local sightseeing once you are done with the Breakfast. You will be visiting Delo, Durpin Monastery, Pine View Nursery, Golf Ground, Morgan House & Hanuman Top. After sightseeing you will proceed towards Darjeeling. In the evening you can explore the absolute delight of the Mall Road in Darjeeling. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

The journey starts early in the morning at 04:00 to Tiger Hill. Following this you will also visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery then proceed back to the Hotel. After breakfast you will proceed for another round of sightseeing covering major attractions like the Zoo, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock & Tea Garden. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

After breakfast you will proceed to Bagdogra Airport. It is now time to head back home with a plethora of good memories.

Gangtok

Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan Mountain ranges

Changu Lake

The Tsomgo Lake is considered extremely sacred by the local people. The place is a paradise for bird lovers with a large number of Blue Whistling Thrush, Redstarts and Forktails around. The Tsomgo lake is host to a number of migratory birds prominent among which are the Brahminy ducks

Baba Harbajan Mandir

Baba Mandir, a popular destination of tourists visiting Sikkim from all over India. There are two shrines dedicated to Sepoy Harbhajan Singh, a dedicated soldier of Indian Army, popular as Old Baba Mandir on Old Silk Route and the other, New Baba Mandir, at a place, 8 km from Nathula Pass.

Kalimpong

Kalimpong is an east Indian hill town in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal. Perched on a ridge above the Teesta River, it’s home to colonial-era buildings like MacFarlane Memorial Church, named after a Scottish missionary. South, the hilltop Durpin Monastery, or Zang Dhok Palri Phodang, contains sacred Buddhist scriptures. Deolo Park has landscaped gardens and offers views of the town and surrounding hills

Durpin Monastery

The monastery is located atop Durpin Hill, one of the two hills of the town. It was consecrated in 1976 by the visiting Dalai Lama. The monastery houses many rare scriptures that were brought into India after the annexation of Tibet in 1959. It also houses the 108 volumes of the Kangyur.

Darjeeling

Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks
